This 29er is a superb value for money bike but it's kitted out with great components aboard a quality frame, giving more performance than you would expect from a bike at this price point. And, with SR Suntour suspension and a Box Four 8-Speed drivetrain, the Nucleus 29 VR is ideal for XC, trail and all-day epics at the bike park.
Don’t be fooled by the price point, the Nucleus isn’t your run of the mill entry-level mountain bike. It’s the foundation of the Vitus mountain bike range, with aggressive geometry designed to get you hooked. Don’t say we didn’t warn you. For 2021 all models now come with 1x groupsets.
The low, long, and slack geometry is coupled to 100mm of Suntour Air suspension taking care of any rough terrain you'll encounter on the trails while the disc brakes will give you ample stopping power. For 2021 the Nucleus has received a threaded bottom bracket for increased durability and a wide range groupset thanks to the new Box Four drivetrain. A clutch activated rear mech, and a narrow-wide 1x chainring upfront will keep you on the trails all day.
Vitus' tried and tested combination of WTB tires and rims offers superior performance and grip. Finished off with a combination of Vitus and Nukeproof components the Nucleus 29 VR has stepped up to take your riding to the next level.

We will happily refund any item purchased on Wiggle if returned to us within 365 days; excluding Wiggle gift vouchers, nutrition and customised products, except when faulty.
Please note: Bikes and other bulky items cannot be returned using our local returns service (where applicable). Please contact us and we can arrange to collect these from you using our discounted courier rates. There is a fee for all collections, except for faulty products.
Returned goods must be unused and supplied with their original packaging, unless the goods are faulty. Wiggle will pay the return postage costs for any faulty items.
