Silca thought long and hard about the design of the Italian Army Knife and have managed to reduce the thickness of the tool. The mid-length tools allow for the multi-tool to reduce its thickness by half. The mid-length tools allow the user to access recessed fasteners but are short enough not to suffer twist or over-torque damage commonly experienced by longer multi-tools. Each tool is forged rather than bent from hex stock, although a more expensive method, making the tool stronger.
To finish the construction SIlca have double chromed the tools, fully stainless steel hardware and bushings help guarantee a long life free from corrosion.
