Always a favorite with cycling's biggest stars, Sidi has innovated once again with Shot Air Matt, a range-topping shoe that builds on the ever-popular Wire Carbon with a redesigned aerodynamic upper and central Tecno-3 dials that close the shoe symmetrically for an even better custom fit. This Air version also benefits from extensive vents holes in the upper, making it a stunning choice for those rides and races of summer.
The Shot's Microfibre TechPro upper features all the stylish design you'd expect from Sidi's more than 40 years at the top of the sport. Updates include striking embossed graphics, mesh zones designed to aid airflow around the shoe and increased venting above the toe box and the side of the shoe to keep feet cooler at the peak of summer racing.
Smooth, Efficient Pedaling
Sidi knows efficient power transfer on the road relies on a stable foot and stiff pedaling platform. When it comes to keeping your foot stable, Sidi achieves this via the combination of Adjustable Heel Retention Device, reinforced heel cup and of course a precise fit from the Double-Techno-3 Push Dial System.
The adjustable heel lets you get the perfect fit so there's no heel elevator when you're sprinting or climbing. Next, the reinforced heel cup keeps the foot in the optimal position while resisting deformation from high power bursts or prolonged pressure. Lastly, the Double-Techno-3 Push Dial System, situated centrally, allows you to get the most precise fit possible, creating the ideal tension between the internal and external sides. Combined they give you the finest fit, comfort and stability for training and racing.
Vent Carbon Sole
Beautiful to look at, incredibly light, incredibly stiff and highly ventilated, the Vent Carbon Sole sits at the pinnacle of Sidi's sole unit line. Handmade exclusively of carbon fiber it is engineered with a weave pattern, oriented at opposing angles to maximize stiffness while also allowing for a small degree of controlled flex in the toe area. This carefully designed flex biomechanically relieves stress on the plantar tendon and helps promote circulation. The stiffness leads to sensational power transfer, propelling you forward instantly as you push out the watts in a fast-paced criterium or crushing another mountain pass.
When it comes to dealing with heat it also excels, the sole boasting a sliding vent at the toe, which allows riders to tailor their desired level of airflow through the underside of the shoe.
Cleat Guidance
These Road Shoes are compatible with road bike pedal systems that use cleats with 3-bolt standards, such as: Look Delta and Keo, Shimano SPD-SL, Speedplay Light Action, Zero, X-Series (via 3-hole adapter plate), Campagnolo Pro-Fit, Mavic Zxellium, Time Iclic/Xpresso and Time Impact.
