Aero and Cool All the Way

POC has taken a keen focus on smooth and streamlined performance with their Ventral MIPS Helmet. At the same time, ventilation has also been optimized without compromising that aero focus. Utilizing the Venturi effect, the Ventral's airflow zones allow the helmet to pass through the air with greater efficiency, making it faster.

Meanwhile, the 22-degree trailing edge manages residual air traveling around the helmet surface, minimizing turbulence to enhance aerodynamic performance further.  By leading air through rather than around the helmet, its wake is also minimized, while ventilation and cooling inside are turbo-charged.

MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) 

The Mips system is designed to provide added safety for helmets in many accidents. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful rotational motion that might otherwise be transferred to the user’s head.

Rotational motion is a common cause of concussions in oblique hits to the head. In a crash, the Mips system is designed to move slightly inside the helmet to help redirect forces away from the head.
