The Privateer has always been a favorite of XC racers, cyclo-cross riders and speedy gravel riders and it now gets extra style points thanks to a classic lace-up design. The tubular laces are brilliantly durable, easy to use and reliable - no broken dials in the backcountry here. The laces secure the snug microfiber upper, supporting the foot for a super-stable pedaling action. With Rockprint heel and rubber toe guards, you can be confident they're up to the demands of rugged off-road riding conditions too, taking scratches and scrapes in their stride.
Meanwhile, the co-molded nylon and grippy rubber outsole delivers direct power to the pedals and really digs in when you're off the bike and walking. The Privateer Lace feature everything you need for exciting two-wheeled adventures, with nothing to break down or get in the way.
Cleat Guidance
These shoes are compatible with MTB pedal systems, which use the 2-bolt cleat standard (SPD standard), e.g.: Shimano SPD, Time ATAC, CrankBrothers, CrankBrothers Race, Look MTB, Xtreme MTB, Wellgo MTB, Ritchey MTB. Also suitable for indoor trainers in gyms etc.

Please note: Bikes and other bulky items cannot be returned using our local returns service (where applicable). Please contact us and we can arrange to collect these from you using our discounted courier rates. There is a fee for all collections, except for faulty products.
Returned goods must be unused and supplied with their original packaging, unless the goods are faulty. Wiggle will pay the return postage costs for any faulty items.
