This Aerohead™ MIPS cycling helmet takes the same wind-cheating silhouette as the leading-edge Aerohead Ultimate but adds increased ventilation to keep triathletes and time trialists cool when the competition is hot. By using a polycarbonate shell, Wind Tunnel™ ventilation and internal channeling, this helmet is proven to boost cooling power while remaining aerodynamic.
Additionally, Aerohead™ MIPS features a wrap-around eye shield that offers an impressive field of view with the convenience of a magnetic anchor attachment to allow easy storage of the lens in the “flipped up” position – Perfect for fast swim-to-bike transitions.
MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System)
The Mips system is designed to provide added safety for helmets in many accidents. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful rotational motion that might otherwise be transferred to the user’s head.
Rotational motion is a common cause of concussions in oblique hits to the head. In a crash, the Mips system is designed to move slightly inside the helmet to help redirect forces away from the head.

Lens by Zeiss® Optics shield with magnetic attachment the wrap-around eye shield offers an unblocked field of view with a huge aerodynamic benefit and the shield is made by ZEISS® Optics for unrivaled clarity. A magnetic anchor attachment keeps the shield secure, yet easy to remove, and it can be stored in the “flipped up” position.
In-Mold Construction In-mold construction fuzes a tough polycarbonate outer shell with the helmet’s impact-absorbing foam liner. The fusion process allows Giro to sculpt better ventilation systems, so In-mold helmets can be lighter and cooler than traditional helmets.
Roc Loc® Air Fit System This revolutionary fit system improves helmet performance by enhancing cooling, as well as fit comfort and stability. Using a patented design that suspends the helmet just slightly off the top of the skull, Roc Loc® Air allows cool airflow to pass directly over your head, further enhancing the performance of vents and internal channeling that exhaust heat out of the helmet. Fit and feel adjustments mimic the Roc Loc® 5, allowing you to easily custom tune fit tension and fore-aft tilt of the helmet in seconds using a single hand.

By creating helmet molds in up to 4 adult sizes to match the human body’s form, Super Fit™ sizes comfortably and securely to fit riders and feel like they are custom made just for you.

Returned goods must be unused and supplied with their original packaging, unless the goods are faulty. Wiggle will pay the return postage costs for any faulty items.
