Made from soft perforated microfibre to the upper, the Volata Carbon Road Shoes mold to the foot and offer excellent breathability to provide comfort from first pedal stroke to the last. An integrated heel cup, with anti-tendinitis shape and heel grip, holds the foot stable throughout the pedal stroke, ensuring a smooth application of power to the pedals. A 'Comfort-Fit' tongue is anatomically shaped for a perfect fit and features a high-tech cushioned layer for incredible comfort.
Inside, the 'Transpiration Insole', featuring micro-perforations and tarsal support, create a perfect micro-climate and ensure your foot is supported in just the right position for a smooth pedal stroke. Next comes the BOA IP1 dial closure system. The micro-adjust dial and stainless steel cables allow a quick and precise adjustment across the whole of the foot, ensuring no pressure points whatsoever - just the perfect fit every time. With no straps or laces, ventilation is also optimized across the front of the foot.

Every watt you've sweated and suffered to gain in training is transferred to the pedals thanks to the super-stiff EPS Light Weight Full Carbon Sole 12.0 - the 12.0 signifying it registers 12 out of 12 on Gaerne's stiffness scale. Not only is this sole stiff, but it's also incredibly light so no extra weight to carry uphill and it's ultra-thin too, delivering the most natural pedal stroke possible. Foot stability is also optimized thanks to specific support in the plantar arch area, providing an unrivaled pedaling platform for instantaneous power transfer.
