If you’re looking for a versatile jacket that works as a technical mid layer but is just as good as a warm everyday jacket, the Fohn Micro Down Hooded Jacket does it all. It’s so light and packable, there’s no reason to not throw it in your rucksack.
Premium Down: warmth locked in
Not all down jackets are made equal. Fohn have used 750 fill power hydrophobic down to make sure you’re warm whatever the weather throws at you. With a 90/10 down/feather fill, this is a premium insulating jacket with high loft feathers there to trap heat, without being bulky.
Packability
Constructed with micro baffles for a slim profile that makes it perfect for layering, this jacket is super packable, folding into the internal pocket. The outer fabric is a lightweight but strong ripstop nylon with a DWR coating to fend off any showers, but with such a slim profile, this jacket is perfect for layering under a waterproof shell when the weather turns wet.
Fully Featured
Two zipped hand pockets are there to keep your hands warm. Elasticated cuffs and an adjustable lower hem are there to let you lock in as much warmth as possible, and a YKK zipper with a silicone-dipped puller is easy to open and release heat even with gloves on.
Responsible Down Standard
Fohn only use down from audited ethical sources with RDS certification. This global industry standard makes sure it comes from birds who haven’t been force fed, live-plucked or mistreated.
