Specifically designed to deliver biting traction at a price point that doesn't hurt, this flat pedal is well-equipped for the rigors of modern mountain bike (MTB) trail riding. Its hard-wearing composite body provides a fantastic balance of strength and durability, while also keeping its weight reduced to a minimum. e.thirteen has also kitted it out with a heat-treated steel spindle for extra toughness as you weave your way from trail to trail.
Drawing from the pin layout on e.thirteen's first LG1 Plus and LG1 Race pedals, the Base composite pedals use the exact same 22-pin pattern in order to achieve the same biting traction e.thirteen's first pedals were so well known for. The 100x110mm composite platform houses 22 pins (11 per side), an inboard bushing + outboard bearing, and steel axle. This combination spins smooth and is designed to increase longevity. Sold as a pair.
