It combines a Santa Cruz Reserve 27 Carbon rim with a DT Swiss DT350 hub for the best balance of strength and durability without weighing down your ride with unnecessary excess grams.
The Reserve 27 is designed for the way most people ride—a bit of up, a bit of down, and a lot of miles in between. The narrower width pairs well with a wide range of tires, from 2.0 to 2.5, depending on your preference for tire profile. It’s a bit lighter than the Reserve 30, and the beads are slightly thinner. It’s tough, but designed for less all-out aggressive riding than the 30 or the DH.
DT Swiss hubs have earned their legendary reputation for quality and performance. There are multiple features that make this hub design a winner. Benefitting from 12x148mm Boost axle spacing, it offers increased stiffness and precise handling while its robust alloy construction makes it highly durable as you weave from trail to trail. This version comes complete with a Shimano HG freehub.
