This high-end wheelset features a C17 rim that creates a better rim to tyre interface improving cornering and reducing rolling resistance when using 25mm and 28mm tyres. The Campagnolo Shamal Millie Wheelset has also incorporated Toroidal milling spiral groove on the braking track to reduce braking distance and maintain silent braking.
The Campagnolo Shamal Mille Wheelset comes with 16 radial spokes at the front and 21 spokes in the rear with the exclusive Mega-G3 geometry to reinforce cassette side at the rear whilst producing extremely good stiffness, reduce vibration and reactivity of the wheel. Campagnolo also uses MoMag technology to produce a uniform rim that does not require rim tape and allow the wheel to run higher spoke tension causing greater stiffness and a more reactive wheel.
This wheelset features the Campagnolo iconic, performance-enhancing Mega-G3 spoke lacing pattern. This spoke pattern improves energy between the rider and the road, which reduces stresses on the drive side (right side) of the wheel while increasing the rigidity of the wheel overall at the same time. This significant performance enhancement is achieved by the drive side of the rear wheels having twice as many spokes as the non-drive side (left side).
