WHAT IT IS
From the compressive, all-day comfort of the fit to the high-wear fabrics and additional cargo
space, these bib shorts check all the boxes for gravel and touring support.
WHY WE MADE IT
Gravel, touring, and bikepacking require more robust equipment. Frame, wheels, tires,
apparel—none of a rider’s gear is exempt, so the KIESPANZER (or “Gravel Tank”) provides the
requisite durability for the inevitable abuse of cycling beyond the tarmac. It’s also equipped with
storage solutions for day-trip supplies or to supplement pack space and keep ride essentials
readily accessible in pockets of high-stretch, extremely breathable 3-Mesh panels. Reflective
stripes help ensure visibility on early departures, late returns, or those long dusks while pushing
through the final miles to the next hotel or campsite.

heading out on a multiday tour.

FEATURED FABRICS
Type.429 wraps with a lightly compressive hold for a streamlined, breathable fit. When the
gravel “road” becomes little more than a path and trail-side brush closes in, side panels of
Bunny Hop add a barrier against abrasion that still stretches and compresses like a road specific
textile courtesy of our woven, 50/50 polyamide and elastane blend.
CONSTRUCTION/FIT
C2 AEPD regularFit is based on our performance race models with a less aggressive, streamlined
design and our standard leg length. Tuned for comfort in the saddle and mobility off the bike.
ENGINEERING
- X-frame: A-frame suspension inherited from the MILLE GTS bibs. Limits sag on the lower back
for a confident fit that stabilizes the chamois and main body panel.
- Silicone Leg Grippers: A more robust, gravel-ready version of our Lycra leg and design that
grips the thigh without bulky grip applique.
- Four Pocket System: Two triple-ramp thigh pockets securely stow ride essentials; two
discreet rear pockets secure small items. Pull tabs—a solution we developed in response to
rider feedback—facilitate easy access.
MILLE GTC C2 INSERT
- Shock-Absorb Damping Twin: MicroShock and FilterFoam constitute two layers and 19mm of
gravel comfort. Irritation-reducing Thermoformed shaping and Odor Control Top Sheet Tex
are invaluable while touring or bikepacking.
- goldenGate: The stitching pattern anchors the front and back but lets the insert’s body float,
allowing the chamois to move with your body rather than against it.
- kraterCooler: Perforations in the chamois’ leading edge draw air across the insert to maintain
cooling breathability on hot summer days.
- 3D Waffle: A patented, three-layer, perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates
excess weight.
