Thanks to the combination of the fully integrated Smartshock® Rotational Protective System, with Smartshock® elastomers, and Multi-Density EPS foam construction this is a helmet that does an incredible job of dissipating and reducing the shock of an impact to the head. The EPS foam absorbs direct impacts while the Smartshock® Rotational Protective elastomers help protect the brain from the rotational forces involved in a crash, letting you dust yourself down and keep riding when it all goes wrong.
From trail center loops to adventures into the wilds, the Altec is designed to ensure you don't get too hot and sweaty as you enjoy the ride. 15 large ventilation ports direct airflow into the helmet so you get a rush of cool air to the head with exhaust ports letting that sweaty humid air out the back. Meanwhile, inside the helmet, the quick-wicking anti-microbial liner keeps you fresh and it's washable too, so no itchy head annoyance after a tough day on the hill.
When it comes to dialing in the fit the Altec makes it easy. No matter how rough and rowdy the terrain the Adjustable Ratcheting Fitment System ensures you can keep the helmet secure via a simple twist of the rear dial, while the Nexus push-release snap-buckle makes getting your helmet on or off a cinch. The multi-point, adjustable visor optimizes protection and vision while allowing easy stowage of goggles and if you're a rider who prefers sunglasses, the sunglasses storage system is a welcome addition. We will happily refund any item purchased on Wiggle if returned to us within 365 days; excluding Wiggle gift vouchers, nutrition and customised products, except when faulty.
Please note: Bikes and other bulky items cannot be returned using our local returns service (where applicable). Please contact us and we can arrange to collect these from you using our discounted courier rates. There is a fee for all collections, except for faulty products.
Returned goods must be unused and supplied with their original packaging, unless the goods are faulty. Wiggle will pay the return postage costs for any faulty items.
