The Vitesse EVO features a lightweight T700 HM-UD carbon construction with tubesets optimised to deliver the perfect balance of power transfer and comfort. The oversized downtube features a squared profile to maximise stiffness and power transfer; the huge BB386EVO bottom bracket and oversized chainstays improve lateral stiffness to ensure every ounce of energy is transferred from the rider to the rear wheel whilst the slender seatstays, profiled top tube and 27.2mm seatpost offer a high degree of vertical compliance which translates into enhanced rider comfort and reduced rider fatigue. Up front the tapered headtube increases front end stiffness for improved tracking and handling.
The concept behind the new Shimano Dura-Ace R9000 drivetrain was to examine and improve every component to optimise the input and maximise the output.
The Dura-Ace 9000 shifters have received an overhaul over previous editions with the aim of improving ergonomics and shifting efficiency. They now feature a re-designed brake hood that is more comfortable to grip, especially for those with smaller hands. The shifters also offer up to 14mm of reach adjustment.
The rear shifter features an improved lever stroke that is shorter than previous editions. This allows for quicker shifts and requires less effort from the rider. The front shifter features a lighter lever swing for a more linear stroke.
The K-Force brake set features brakes that have a unique I-Beam forging with a dual pivot design. The I-Beam design is maximized for lightweight, stiffness and stopping power.
Vision's Team components represent high performance and value for money. The all-alloy Team30 wheelset shares many features of our high-end wheelsets, including: aero bladed spokes, an asymmetric 2:1 rear lacing pattern, CNC machined braking surfaces, high quality cup & cone bearings and hand-built quality.
30mm deep alloy clincher rims give aerodynamic benefits without an excessive weight penalty. CNC machined alloy hubs are durable and smooth running. Finishing the wheelset off is a pair of Michelin PRO 4 tyres giving you the up most confidence when leaning into the corners.
Finishing the Vitesse off is a collection of parts from FSA. Using a FSA S-LK compact bar, a S-LK stem, Carbon 27.2mm S-LK seatpost and a Vitus road specific saddle. A great, light-weight finishing kit to top the Vitesse off.

First emerging as a frame builder in 1970s France, Vitus Bikes played a pivotal role in pioneering the design and manufacture of lugged and bonded aluminum frames, the most iconic being the 979, groundbreaking at the time and still prized among collectors today. In 1982 we engineered and developed the 979 Carbone, one of the very first frames to take carbon fiber technology from the aerospace industry and apply it to bikes. Their tradition of innovation continued throughout subsequent decades with frames which included the 1991 ZXI monocoque carbon frame, the spirit of which lives on in their latest generation of monocoque road bikes. Without exception, each of the bikes – from their singlespeed commuter to the high-end carbon road model – won plaudits for their ride quality, build and great value. The reviews confirmed what they knew all along, and they intend to improve on these already test-winning models as Vitus push forward with the development of this great brand of bikes. “Credit has to be due to a brand that has come back from the ashes and rather than milk the prestige of the old days, has set its sights on the biggest players on the scene.” CYCLIST magazine. Vitus bikes have been tested in many of the top cycling titles and websites across all disciplines. Their bikes have won group tests across Europe and are regarded as some of the best on the market.
The size chart below will get you on the right size bike. Experienced riders may also wish to refer to the geometry chart for more detail.
Getting the Right Fit
At Wiggle we measure each of our bikes to build accurate size charts for our customers. Our qualified team of mechanics then individually check each order, against measurements supplied by you, to ensure the size chosen is correct. Another reason you can have complete confidence when buying a bike from Wiggle!
If you are on the change over between sizes both options will fit. Racers and experienced riders would usually select a smaller size as this offers quicker handing. A larger bike offers more stability and is more suited to new and intermediate riders.
