The Blueseventy Core Shorts provide the buoyancy you need when completing your swim training regime and allow you to rotate your body from your hips without having to focus on gripping a pullbuoy.
|Wetsuit Type:||Buoyancy Shorts|
The core shorts are a neoprene jammer designed to simulate the elevator of a wetsuit by using the same top of the line materials as Blueseventy's award winning Helix, resulting in a seamless adjustment to swimming on race day.
It is durable and designed to withstand hours of pool and open water use. Made to improve distance per stroke, speed and body position all without the bulk and drag of a pull buoy. They should be worn over a swim suit and used for specific sets when looking to take advantage of faster swimming with the benefits of buoyancy.
Super buoyant rubber is focused on the front and high quality neoprene in the back to elevator the core while swimming. Down the sides we use thinner neoprene and attach it to our flexible orange A-Flex liner. This unique design opens at the thigh making the core short easy to take on and off in-between sets. More importantly, this construction does not hinder but encourages proper hip rotation without sacrificing all-important buoyancy.
The core shorts are a great alternative to the pull buoy. No longer are you limited in the strokes you can do. it provides improved swimming for all four strokes while allowing natural kick, hip rotation and turning. The core shorts is positioned to become the next great training tool for swimmers of all abilities.
Modern triathlon wetsuits were invented by Dan Empfield in 1987 and are customized to the needs of triathletes, they generally incorporate the following key features which differentiates them from a normal wetsuit. 1, Thinner and/or more pliable rubber near the shoulders. 2, Long zippers to facilitate quick removal during transition. In addition, tri wetsuits have a very smooth, but often fragile, surface. This slick surface helps to reduce water friction and allows a faster swim. Another advantage of a tri wetsuit is the added buoyancy that the wetsuit provides, this can provide triathletes with a considerable speed and energy saving advantage over swimming without a suit.
Since 1993, we’ve designed, tested, refined and crafted wetsuits and swimskins that transcend the confines of what is possible. In the process, we’ve carried world-class athletes to victory and instilled confidence in beginners. We make products that empower swimmers to achieve their personal bests. We are swimming. We are blueseventy.
