Made using HM carbon and featuring Campagnolo's Chorus 11 speed groupset and MicroTech wheels and parts, the Astra simply offers truly unbeatable value for the rider keen to increase their speed and mileage on the bike. A tapered steerer and a 1-1/2" bottom headset cup improves power whilst reducing stress on the head tube and a new four leaf clover shaped tubing adds strength to the frame.

The frame is manufactured from a High Modulus carbon and with the carbon fork, makes the foundation for the perfect balance in weight, stiffness and comfort. The Basso frame also features double bottle cage mounts, replaceable aluminium rear dropout and an integrated head tube (1 1/8 - 1 1/2).

The Astra also features a compact chainset. The wide range cassette (12-27) and compact chainset (50-34) provides you with a bike that is capable of getting you up the most demanding of climbs when out on the open road. Ideal for those sportive events or when out on a endurance ride with friends.
